Breakout Room 1 – GP Appraisal

– Discussing updates to the GP appraisal process

-Update on appropriate evidence to provide for your appraisal lead by one of our head appraisers Dr Myers.

Breakout Room 2 – Diabetes

– Type 2 Diabetes in Young People, Diabetic Foot Checks and Care of diabetes patients within the Primary Care setting.

-The aim of this session is to share knowledge about new pathways, meet RDaSH colleagues, podiatry and learn about implications of diabetes.

Breakout Room 3 – SY Training Hub

The South Yorkshire Primary Care Workforce & Training Hub will be hosting a session to showcase the diverse range of programmes they offer for both clinical and non-clinical staff in General Practice. These include initiatives such as the GP new to practice fellowship, Practice Nurse and Nursing Associate programmes, as well as training for reception and administrative teams. The session will also cover available funding for areas like non-medical prescribing, ACP training, and CPD. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their training needs. This is a valuable opportunity to learn more about the support available to retain staff, develop skills and advance careers within General Practice.
