DESCRIPTION:This session will be face-to-face at Castle Park Rugby Club in

 g outcomes in Type 2 Diabetes\, cardiovascular and renal.\n\n\n 	Focus on 
 where and when to prescribe SGLT2’s and look at options to de-prescribe.
  In line with local and National guidelines.\n 	Data to be presented on th
 e local picture with the ambition to increase the % people with Type 2 Dia
 betes on SGLT2’s across Doncaster.\n 	Understand where and when to use t

 epatide) Mechanism of Action\n\n\n 	Describe the incretin effect in both h
 ealthy people and those living with type 2 diabetes.\n 	Explain the action
  of GIP and GLP-1 incretin hormones in glucose homeostasis and their effec
 t on different organs of the body\n 	Outline the specific mode of action o
 f Mounjaro®: a single molecule that activates both GIP and GLP-1 receptor
 \n\nObjective – To enable Primary Care clinicians to understand how the 
 Medication works and when to Initiate in accordance with Local and Nationa
